Our camping mats are made from 100% Virgin Polypropylene.  This is a waterproof "plastic" type of material. We have had this treated with the best UV-stabilizer available today.  This stabilizer hinders damage from direct sun exposure. 

   Our mat is made of three "straws"  tightly woven together which adds strength and durability to the mat.  We have these mats made in three foot wide sections and sewn together with an extra-strong thread and then the weave is tightened to add more strength to the mat.

  Finally the edges are trimmed with a heat gun and a colorful band is then sewn around the edge with a nylon loop at each corner so our lightweight mats can be secured to the ground with a camping stake.
